Proposal
As part of my assignment I have been asked to write a proposal for my final major project. I have decided to re-shoot my advert where I had to create an advert for a product. The product I am creating an advert for is “Axe” a male body spray. In the brief it asks me to inform the public that the average male can get the higher class males female. To create this message my advert is going to consist of three characters. A “higher class “male, A “super model” female and a geeky “Water boy.” There is going to be a run show event e.g. Catwalk show. It’s going to be an important event where there will be high class people there. Stood by her dressing room door there is a super model. She’s waiting around until some one calls her. She’s looking fed up when all of a sudden there is a high class, tall, smart, wealthy looking man walking down the corridor. She soon perks up and realizes that he is going into the dressing room opposite hers. While she’s stood there after the higher class male has gone into his dressing room she is trying to get a closer look at him by trying to look through his door. As she’s in her own world at this point the “Water Boy” who is a grungy, scruffy, nerdy, average male needs to get past her to put water in the dressing rooms. She gets all huffy with him as he passes as he blocks her view. He’s going into her dressing room, Puts the water down and leaves. As he’s leaving he then goes into the higher class males dressing room (Which is straight opposite) The higher class male is leaving his dressing room. The “water boy” is now in the higher class males dressing room. He puts the water down and sees numerous females numbers on pieces of paper and wishes to himself he could have the females after him. He then smells himself and decides to be a bit cheeky by using the males spray and then continues to leave. As he’s walking back down the corridor the female who was not interested in him at all notices him and chases after him. And then at the end there is going to be an image of Axe spray and in Russian (The product is based in Russia) is going to say, “Get the Axe effect.” I have decided to re-do this piece of work as I feel by re-creating it I can get a much better outcome than last time. I want the images to look glossy so I will be using lighting. I also will be using a range of camera angles. Begin with a long shot, Medium shots for actions and close ups for reactions.
